Idris Elba is Perfectly Shaken, Not Stirred, as James Bond in This ‘Spectre’ Mashup Trailer

It’s no secret to the Internet that African American actor Idris Elba has been a favorite among James Bond fans to take over the franchise after Daniel Craig’s retirement from the character. Craig, who has been quite vocal about the fact that the upcoming Spectre (the 24th James Bond film) is probably his last, leaves producers with some pretty big shoes to fill. Historically, and according to series canon, James Bond is a white Englishman, born to Andrew Bond, of Glencoe, Scottland, and Monique Delacroix, of the Canton de Vaud in Switzerland. That’s not stopping fans from suggesting and even petitioning Mr. Elba be given a license to kill.

VULTURE has officially joined the bandwagon with their latest mashup video, which completely removes all footage of Daniel Craig in the latest Spectre trailer, replacing him seamlessly with Idris Elba. Admit it. You’d definitely watch this.
