Vin Diesel, known for such movies as The Iron Giant, Fast & Furious franchise, Riddick, and most recently, his portrayal of an alien tree in Guardians of the Galaxy, has shown once again that he is a class act first, and actor second.
Diesel revealed to Today that he and longtime girlfriend Paloma Jimenez have named their newborn baby girl (the couple’s third child together) Pauline, in memory of his Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker, who was tragically killed in a car accident in 2013. Watch the heart-warming interview:

“There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just thought, I knew he was there and it felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world”, Vin said to Natalie Morales during the Today helicopter interview.
The film, Furious 7, due out April 3rd, had already begun filming prior to Paul Walker’s tragic passing. Faced with the challenge of honoring Paul Walker’s memory while also completing the film, the producers have managed to salvaging much of Paul Walker’s existing footage by undergoing extensive rewrites to the script. Vin Deisel who has described Walker as a brother to him, has been notably outspoken in the past about how much their friendship meant to him over the years.
