Tucker

Rajah:

Shawn Michaels was named the number one Superstar in World Wrestling Entertainment's forthcoming DVD set counting down the top 50 Superstars of all time, WWE: Top 50 Superstars of All Time.

The DVD's complete 1 to 50 ranking is as follows:

1. Shawn Michaels
2. The Undertaker
3. Steve Austin
4. Bret Hart
5. The Rock
6. Harley Race
7. Ricky Steamboat
8. Andre the Giant
9. Rey Mysterio
10. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper
11. Eddie Guerrero
12. Triple H
13. Gorgeous George
14. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
15. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig
16. John Cena

31. The Iron Sheik
32. Jimmy Snuka

34. Kurt Angle
35. Buddy Rogers

37. Junkyard Dog
38. "Superstar" Billy Graham
39. Jake "The Snake" Roberts
40. Big Show

44. Nick Bockwinkel
45. Jeff Hardy
46. Dory Funk Jr.
47. Bob Backlund
48. Rick Rude
49. Batista
50. Killer Kowalski

I don't know about some of this, even if it is just a gimmick to sell DVDs. The Rock above Andre? Come on. Randy Orton next to Pat Patterson? Surely not. And don't even let me get started on Michaels at #1 and Stone Cold at #3. Does anything here jump out at you guys as a "You can't be serious" ranking?

Most of this list is pretty much of a joke, there's no way that Shawn Michaels belong number one of the list. How is Rey Mysterio above Macho Man? Doesn't make sense at all. The Rock above Ricky Steamboat is pretty surprising too, even though The Rock was more popular then the Dragon. Bruno being at number 24 is another joke, why isn't Ultimate Warrior on the list, and Batista is? Glad to see Bret Hart at number four, personally I think he belongs number one, but that's just me. I'm surprised that HHH is only at .12, not saying he deserves to be higher, just thought the WWE would put him in the top five.

Pretty much disappointed in the whole thing.

A good amount of them I wouldn't picture being on an "of all time list," such as Jerry Lawler...entertaining guy top 50? Not so sure.

What's tough for me is that I couldn't even put together a list of my own, so I don't know what to say overall about this one.

Kurt Angle should be much, much, much higher.

I was curious in seeing Batista even making the list. I wonder if the WWE has hopes of a return sometime soon? I had thought of making a thread about that a while ago and forgot; I could picture Big Dave being back in the picture after several months of "trying" acting, lol.

Jerry Lawler was huge in AWA and NWA and I'm pretty sure the WWE are taking that into consideration. A lot of fans think of Jerry Lawler as the commentator, or just the guy that had feuds with Bret Hart in the 90's, but he's way more then that. He was tremendous wrestler and he's put on some great matches.

I have a feeeling that if Hogan and Flair were still in the WWE today they would be much higher.

And, yeah, Hogan's spot has to be a Vince political move...I mean, it's Hulk Hogan. I could understand guys like HBK and Taker being above him, but if he's lower than three (and he's way lower) it's kind of insane. Same with Ric Flair...how is he that low?!

What surprises me too is that Flair is tied with Rhodes. No disrespect to Dusty, but there's no way he should be tied with The Nature Boy. Ric Flair was better in the ring, was better on the microphone and cut better promos. I'm not trying to take anything away from Dusty, but he's not on the same level Ric.

I'm curious to know what you guys think of not having Ultimate Warrior on the list. He wasn't good in the ring, but he's arguably one of the biggest stars to ever step in the ring.

Lou Thesz at .21 is a joke too in my opinion.

Where is my Queen?
Where is Flair?...where is he?...I don't see Flair. This list is bullshit. Well at least Hulk Hogan is not even near the top ten.

Flair is tied with Dusty Rhodes at the 17th spot, he's definitely lower then he should be that's for sure.

I think everyone will disagree with this list, I wonder who rank them too.

I know it was not Unity because he would of ranked Hulk Hogan #1. J/k

I just saw that he was tied, WTF! So technically this list is the top 51 wrestlers of all time. Flair should be in the top 5 for sure. Whoever made this list can burn.

I saw Hogan at 23 and Flair at 17 and just stopped reading to be honest with you. What bullshit bias. Come on.

Michaels at number one I don't have that big of a problem with even though I'd go Austin, Michaels, Undertaker, Hart but they didn't ask me what I thought.
