That's right! I've decided that we should have a writing contest, this also includes poetry!

I'm trying to be as organized as i can with this because it's going to be complicated. So here are the rules!
    1. There will be two sections to this contest, writing and poetry. You can enter for both, but you can only win ONE!
    2. Stories/poetry can be any genre and age.
    3. Stories/poetry MUST be posted on here by the deadline. So for now i will be allowing authors to double, triple, quadruple update in order to get finished (sorry but it might have to be done). Please try to do this after long periods (3-4days min). This is for AUTHORS ONLY. If i find anyone else double posting warnings will be issued and/or you will be disqualified from the contest if you're participating.
    4. You can still review stories during the contest.
    5. Anyone can vote.

The sign up dead line is next Friday the 31st. I may be taking part myself, i don't know yet. After the sign up dead line I'll close this thread and set a new dead line for the contest. If there's any questions, just ask.

    When signing up please state:

The Story/Poetry title and age limit.
Whether you're entering the poetry, writing or both
If you'll be able to make the dead line. (if not, don't panic you won't be disqualified).

    Alright? Get writing!

Well as far as the poetry is concerned I'm entering in my poem "Smile" that I've already posted it up. I'm putting like a 13+ rating on it. (Some hint of suicide and such)

As far as the writing part. I'm working on a short story right now entitled "Good Bye Blue Bell;" anyone can read it. So all ages.

The poem I'll make the dead line easy (already finished)
Good Bye Blue Bell; I can make the dead line; may not be with my finished copy; but I'll make the dead line.

Question: Do you want us to go ahead and post the work on here?

Yeah, if you get posting now you'll be done (or near done) by the dead line.
