Well, what type of games to you prefer?
PS3 is more powerful, while the Wii is arguably more interactive (with the Wii-mote setup).
You could also buy a Wii, an extra controller, some nunchuck attachments, and several games for the price of JUST the PS3 console only with no games.

I'm assuming that you have a 360 already. If you do, the Wii is the best choice. It offers a unique assortment of games, whereas the PS3 and the 360 have similar choices(360's choices being better).
