Why isn't the WWE using Gail Kim?

I was wondering what everyone thinks of Gail Kim, and of why the WWE isn't using her well.

In my opinion, she's one of the top female athletes in the business...she was used really well in TNA, and at first not too badly upon her return to the WWE.

Do you think she should be in the Divas title picture? Why won't the WWE use her outside of Diva tag matches, typically?

My view is that a heel turn and feud with Natalya and Beth Phoenix (if Beth stays face) would work perfectly.

Gail Kim is definitely talented and deserves a push. I never understood why they brought her back if they're not going to use her the right way. She's proven in the past that she can put on a top rated match, and there's a few diva's out there that she could feud with.

It seems like the WWE are only concentrating on a few diva's and it's really unfair to some of the other talented diva's. Just take a look at Natalya, ever since she joined the WWE she was one of the most talented female wrestler on the roster and she never got the push she deserved until a month or so ago.

Exactly...and I think there's room among the talented or pushed Divas for Gail Kim. I'm fine with McCool and Layla being around, but the division would be at its best if it was Phoenix, Natalya, Gail Kim, and maybe Melina in there feuding for the title. Modern day WWE Divas basically is like taking Lita and Trish and saying "here, you escort the guest host while Stacy Keibler has the Women's Title."

The thing is the WWE doesn't like to give the diva's a lot of time to showcase their in ring skills. Usually they get under ten minutes and for some of these divas it's not a lot. Sometimes I don't mind it, because there's some female wrestlers that don't belong on the roster, and don't belong TV time. No offense to The Bella Twins, but they don't deserve the air time they get. It seems that the WWE are more concern about their WWE divas to be sexy and eye candy then actually having in ring skills.

They give a few divas pushes at different times. Kim will get one, eventually.

To answer your question clearly Unity...the WWE still has their head up their ass. My take on this, is that Gail Kim is the most talented wrestler on their female roster, and they don't want to give her a push just yet since they just gave Natayla a push. Also rumor has it, and everybody has heard these speculations, is that the WWE is racist, so who knows, it could be just because she is not white or hispanic. I hope this is not the case.

See how long it took them to push Natalya? I suppose it could happen eventually but it should have happened by now.

Gail is as good as it gets. I just don't think the WWE knows how to push the woman's division.

I don't doubt that there have been a few racist people among the staff (Freebirds runnin' wild and free...), but I highly doubt that it's the case with Gail Kim. She's been Women's Champion before.

The thing with Gail is that she's an established WWE Diva from quite a few years back. The billed her return as such, mentioned her title on the air I think, etc. Even though Natalya is a huge talent and comes from a great family, she's still young. I would think that Gail getting another run at the title wouldn't be such a far-fetched idea. It's understandable that Nattie's getting her shot now, as she's just getting around to wrestling again on her own and she's been in the spotlight this year. I just think Gail's time has to come soon, or she'd be better off back in TNA with Tara and Mickie.

And I agree with the last statement, lol. She's definitely a great talent regardless of her gender. It's people like her, Natalya, Beth, Mickie James, Tara, and Winter (Katie Lea) that will keep me watching Women's matches. Regardless of how how the women involved are, if the match is bullocks I'll be changing the channel for a few minutes.

While I do agree with you that the WWE is fucking stupid when it comes to handling their female talent, I don't believe that they're racist; well a lot of former WWE employees have stated that they are, but I don't think that was the case with Gail Kim. Remember, back in 2003, Gail had a huge push. She won the WWE Women's Championship in her debut match. And she held on to the belt for months. If I had to guess, I'd say that it probably has something to do with her going to TNA. Because lets face it, ever since she made the move back to the WWE, they've been treating her like crap. "Diva" matches are just not worth watching anymore.

I agree. Diva matches are complete shit.

There is nothing worth while in the Diva division. It's dead like the tag division.
