Darren Aronofsky - Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain. I haven't seen Pi yet, but it's supposed to be really good.

Steven Spielberg (Mostly For Jurassic Park)
Peter Jackson (For The Lord Of The Rings)

I heard that Requiem for a dream was pretty good, do you think that I would like it?

Isn't Pi based off of that book called "The Life of PI"?

I don't know what your taste in movies is. Requiem for a Dream is pretty hardcore. Most people love it, but some people hate it. Either way, it'll make you say "wow."

I don't think Pi is based on "The Life of Pi"

Scuba Steve did you read the topic? I also asked to post your two favorite movies from the directors that you have chosen. Could you please edit your topic and list your favorite movies from them please.

I'm not the biggest fan of Martin Scorsese because there's a lot of movies from him that I simply hated, but I still like him because movies Goodfellas make me like him. I don't know if that makes to much sence lol.

Love these guys. Also Aronofsky sucks for the most part. Pi was just weird, the Fountain sucked. Requiem For A Dream was badass though I'll give him that.

If you thought the Fountain sucked, you probably either didn't understand it or were just expecting something different.

Quentin Tarantino (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill)
Joel and Ethan Coen (Blood Simple, Fargo, The Big Lebowski)

I cheated by picking three directors, but I'm pretty sure that the Coen Brothers are typically counted as a single directorial entity.
