Which state has the most competitive hs football games?

I say Texas, mostly because I have seen it first hand, and Southlake Carroll has been number one in the Nation for several years now. (Unfortunatly, because they keep knocking my team out of the playoffs!)

I only have experience with High school football in Alabama and Minnesota. In Minnesota, Hockey > Football by far, but in Alabama, almost everyone lives an breathes football. I couldn't go outside without someone asking me if I play football, who I play for, or asking which position I play. The latter two actually being the most common. :|

Haha, my High school has our first game September 1st at Texas Stadium, it's Dallas Morning News's number 4 (Allen) v. number 3 (Garland), in the Tom Landry Classic.

I think we can beat Garland this year, and go undefeated. We are a major state contender this year (again) but this year I think we can beat SLC and Euless Trinity!

I am so SIKED!!! I am getting a yearbook press pass so I can go into the press box and take pics of the Worlds biggest band (My school has a 700+ member marching band)

Sorry if I am ranting but I cant wait!!!

Thats right Florida is pretty big on football. I belive some Miami team is coming to Texas to play South Lake Carroll. I'm gonna have to pull for the Florida team because I HATE SLC!
