PC Games Whats this game like?

Ive heard the title of this game but I have never heard what its about. Is it as good as halo 2? How is the online play?

Its only one of the best first person shooters ever.. compelling story visceral world.. absolutely fantastic if you can get installed and have a comp to run it. Multiplayer its fantastic too. Also, BUY F.E.A.R. its a must have if you are an FPS fan. Get them both.,..

HL 2 is far better then Halo 2. Halo 2 does have a much better cooperative bot AI, but HL 2 wins in so many other catagories.
