What is the operating system you use for your primary PC?

Discuss why you use it, and what you like about it?

I had Windows XP, liked it..then decided I wanted a new computer and went with Vista.
Bad move, Vista totally sucks major ass!
Now I am back enjoying Windows.

Vista Premium - I've never had a single issue with this computer and I download and look up porn like a beast.

Yeah, I'm told Vista is the ME of this generation but don't see it. I don't care about all the technical nerdbabble and details. She runs fine and does what she is suppose to. Believe me, before this PC, I ran an actual ME for 6 years. Six. I know what headaches are, and Vista was a sweet release from that. At least this PC was, and this is just a generic medium-end Wal-mart desktop.

Well, I have an iMac too. Umm, it's pretty old now too. It was one of the first generation kitty cats. I don't know what came first. Tiger? Leopard? Fuck. Whatever was first, I got it. Too lazy to check. I keep it set up next to my recliner on the end table for when I watch movies in the living room. I'm a whore for chatting and like to keep up on messages.

Well fortunately with me I never had to use Windows Vista, but I primarily use Windows XP for most of my functions, and rarely use Win 7 right now because there are still alot of bugs on it, but it is also on my computer to and well start using it more when Microsoft stops supporting XP. I am happy that I am using a dual operating system.

Needs to be multiple choice!

I have Vista as the default on my desktop because I don't feel like shoveling out for the upgrade. Also, I have Mac OSX on my, you guessed it, Macbook.

I just upgraded to 7 from a XP/Vista dual boot. I never understood the hostility towards Vista. I never had an issue with it. Maybe Vista and especially XP are becoming outdated.

I just felt the need to upgrade to Win 7 when I got a new CPU and RAM.
