yahoo.com - Running back Brian Westbrook agreed to terms with the Eagles on a new deal Friday, as reported by Yahoo.com.

The team did not disclose details of the agreement with Westbrook, who had been seeking a contract similar to the eight-year, $60M deal that LaDainian Tomlinson signed with the Chargers in 2004.

This is great news for the Philly fans, he's defenitely one of the best running backs in the league, he does everything well on the field. He's also a great receiver.

Finally!

This is another "just enough" deal like the last one but he more than deserves it. He has put the entire offense on his back waaaay too many times. And especially after giving Samuel 9 milly to come in and get 2 hamis. FO had no choice but to get this one done.

Bout friggen time. He deserves everything he's getting and if they hadn't gotten him to resign they'd have been in worse trouble than they are now.

There's no doubt that he deserves this, and if the Eagles organization wouldnt of re-signed him, it would be a terrible mistake, and it would cost them a lot of games. Like I said in my post above, he's an incredible talent, he runs very well and he's a great receiver. McNabb should be extremely happy to have him back.
