Video Editing Software Assistance (Needed)

Well-Known Member
I'm looking to start making a YouTube channel to keep myself accountable for my work out routines, nutrition and other aspects of a healthy life and fitness overall. I'm not looking to become the next big YouTube person, but if I can share tips and trades and exchange with others to form a welcoming community, it'll be an added perk. So far I have the channel, the recording equipment (Mic, lighting, Audacity, webcam, etc.), I would like to know what is (in your opinion) the best software to use, or most easy to use depending on your skill level.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to editing and all that, so all of this is new to me from the start. I'm getting assistance here and there from friends but finding the right software would be ideal.

Any suggestions?
