TSN Player Rankings

TOP 3:

1. Evgeni Malkin
2. Brendan Shanahan
3. Marian Hossa
4. Ilya Kovalchuk
5. Alexander Ovechkin

I am surprised to see Jagr out of the top 5. I'm also surprised Ray Whitney isn't in the Top 20, he's been having a great season, he's 8th in the league in scoring.

I am really surprised that Hossa isn't number one, I am not saying that Malkin isn't have a good season so far because he is, but I think that Hossa has been the best player in the NHL so far, and I would put him number one, then Kovalchuk, then Ovechkin then Malkin, then Shanahan.

Interesting, Sharks's Matt Carle is the #2 rookie. I'd agree, he's one of the five rookie defensemen to have more than ten points in October (he had 13).

thats pretty good for a rookie; especially defense. hopefully he'll continue and stay a benefit to the Sharks organization.
