News Story

It seems like the parent company that owns the Chicago Cubs payed 13.5 million of the 16.15 million the Cubs sent to the Baltimore Orioles to complete the trade.

While it accrued a total loss of .03 cents a share overall, Tribune Co. Stock is still at a whopping $41.06 per share, though it is still down 2.6% for the year

in contrast, Tribune Co payed 20.5 million for the cubs back in 1981
