    I've read a lot of your posts. For some reason I was almost sure you'd mention him [RIP].

    Sorry Obsessiforge...I know I'm not answering all your questions, but I just wanted to agree with the people's list and would like to add one more...Mahatma Gandhi.

    I ran out of room. Robespierre edged out a social activist because of how strongly I believe in the French Revolution as an important turning point in global politics.

    However, I did mention both 1968 (the year of MLK's death) and 1989 (the fall of the Berlin wall), as top years, both of which were important in terms of non-violent activism.
