SEGA GENESIS!!! In my opinion the BEST system of all time. Lots of games to choose from.

    10.Earthworm Jim 2
    9.Earthworm Jim
    8.Donald Duck Quackshot
    7.Captain America and the Avengers
    6.X-Men
    5.Sonic the Hedgehog
    4.Sonic and Knuckles

I cant think of any truly horrible games outside of Shaq Fu. Sadly I gave that to my brother for Christmas one year. I swear it was not out of anger or revenge or anything like that!

Surprised I didn't see this thread earlier! :)

    Mine are:

    1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
    2. Sonic the Hedgehog 1
    3. Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine (Like Tetris but I liked it better)
    4. Sonic the Hedgehog 3
    5. Jurassic Park (Actually a pretty fun game)
    6. NBA Hang Time
    7. NBA Jam

Those are pretty much the only games I played back then. I didn't have a lot of spare cash to buy tons of games. :(

Does anyone remember the game "Golden Axe", I think the game came out in 1989 and they also had "Golden Axe 2". It was like Final Fight and Street of Rage and it took place in midevil times. It was a great game and I thought it was truly ahead of its time. I heard that the developers are remaking this classic during this fall for the Xbox 360 and PS3. I'm curious to see how they would remake this.

Hell yes, Golden Axe was awesome.

There's been rumors of a remake since forever but nothing has been confirmed...but if they do remake it I hope it's exactly the same as before except the graphics. And maybe an inventory.

There was a Golden Axe remake as part of Sega's budget line of Ages games in Japan. It was released in the US on the Sega Classics Collection disc for the PlayStation 2. I own it, but haven't played it, so I can't say how it stacks up to the original.

My favorite Genesis games, in no special order were:

    Phantasy Star IV
    Phantasy Star III
    Phantasy Star II
    Sonic 2
    X-Men 2
    Lethal Enforcers
    Terminator 2
    Valis III
    Shining Force
    Shining Force II
