Timmins to blame for habs inconsistency?

Habs have collapsed. We can say it's a lack of depth, talent, leadership, etc..
but lately a lot of people are putting the blame on head scout and beloved member of the Habs
Trevor Timmins.

Articles calling "Not accurate" or "Too many misses" and it's starting to annoy me.
lets take a look at some of the picks since '05

2005 - (05) -Carey Price, (45) - Guillaume Latendresse, (200)- Sergei Kostitsyn

2006 - (20) - David Fischer, (66) - Ryan White

2007 - (12) - Ryan McDonagh, (22)- Max Pacioretty, (43)- PK Subban

2008 - No pick until the 56th overall, got Danny Kristo

2009 - (18) - Louis Leblanc - (139), Gabriel Dumont

2010 - (22) - Jarred Tinordi, (117) - Morgan Ellis, (147) - Brendan Gallagher

2011 - (17) - Nathan Beaulieu, (138) - Darren Dietz

2012 - (03) - Alex Galchenyuk, (122) - Charles Hudon

2013-2015 is too early to Decide but there are good prospects like McCarron, Scherbak, Reway, Lehkonen and many more. Plus Andrighetto and De La Rose are currently on the roster.

Some of those players are elite. Others Busts and some where traded for scrap and a bag of pucks. Yes there are some picks where we missed out, but no one is perfect, but Timmins is damn good and nothing and no one can take away some of the great players hes draft and that will continue to draft.

Thoughts?

I think it's unfair to put most of the blame on Trevor Timmins. Yeah, he pitches a prospect to the GM when draft time comes but the final word goes to the General Manager. So if you're looking for a culprit, point your finger at either Bob Gainey, Pierre Gauthier or Marc Bergevin, all men who had the final say on who they were drafting.

The scout can only do so much but he's not responsible for their development once they're drafted. So, bottom line, the last guy you need to blame is Trevor Timmins.

You have to have a coach that can teach them too... That's not an arena where you expect magic from Lefebvre, however that idiots name is spelled, and Therrien. 2007 was there best draft in decades and Timmins was pissed when they traded their highest pick!

Timmins should be the last person in the organization to blame. He has a great eye for talent, and it's part of the job to sometimes fail. Fischer was a dud, so was Leblanc, but he later came out to say his hand was force with that pick. All an all, great job

The Leblanc draft selection was to be seen. Some pretty good players were drafted after that Timmins would have called for.
