THAT annoys me
if you buy stuff for ps2 its usually very flawed
I've never noticed this. I always buy name brand peripherals though as opposed to the super cheap stuff.
Maybe you are buying the wrong stuff. I played my PS2 just yesterday and everything worked just fine.
Always try to buy name brand stuff instead of a bunch of cheap stuff like Mad Catz.
I've never had a PS2 controller fail on me. I had a friend rip his PS2 in half, but I think that wasn't Sony's fault.
I had a Pelican controller, literally, fall apart in my hands.
One of my friends ordered a few PS2 controllers on eBay and they turned out to be cheap knockoffs. They even said "Made in Mexico" on them. The buttons stuck and they weren't as smooth or comfortable to hold as the official ones.
Just always make sure you know what you are buying. If it seems too good (or cheap) to be true, then it probably is.
