Sadly to say I dont know much of the Von Erich family. All I know is that they had a successful company called WCCW, and it was a famous wrestling company. I also know a lot of the Von Erich died at an early age, some commited suicide I believe one of them died of a mysterious cause. They were also extremly popular.

That's pretty much all I know, does anyone else have more information about them, I'm dying to know. I know I could look it up on Wikepedia, but I much rather here it from a member that post in the Wrestling section.

I believe that Kratzenkov is correct. I remember when Kerry Von Erich (Texas Tornado) killed himself. I was real young and I was shocked. It wasnt until later on that I found out he was one of many in that family.

Most of them commited suicide which is truly sad, it must of been really hard for the remaining family member Kevin, probably still is.

I was looking at some videos of them on youtube, and they were very talented and they gave everything they had in the little time they were performing. They were also icons when it came to wrestling.

I just wish I had the oppurtunity to watch them wrestle, it just seem they understood the wrestling business.

I was pretty young when the Von Erichs were wrestling, I remember as a child seeing it on Saturday mornings and the Houston skyline as it came on. I don't remember much about them I remember one of them wrestled barefoot, I remember Kerry Von Erich, Fritz, Kevin, and a few others. They were all pretty good wrestlers wish I could remember more. I did find this article on the on WWE's site and their own.

WWE: Superstars > Where Are They Now? > Catching up with Kevin Von Erich

VonErich.com - The official website of the Von Erich family

Thanks Burger King I really appreciate it.

I wish I could of seem them wrestle as well because from a few videos I've seen from them they seemed like incredible wrestlers.

I think if I knew moe of them Kerry would be my favorite, he seemed to be very gifted in the ring. He was also a perfect built.

I'm new here and this thread happened to be the first I read.

Not to share my age (haha) but I was a avid Von Erich fan when I was a kid. Every Saturday morning, I was glued to my parents TV set. I'm pretty sure I had a crush on atleast 3 of them. Brings back fun memories and I've been scanning youtube on them for the past 20 minutes.

I remember being shocked as well, on the weird string of events that happened to that family....and saddened.

Welcome to the forums, it's great to have new wrestling fans join these forums, especially fans that know the history of wrestling.

Since you know a lot about them, can you please tell us more about them. Yeah from what I've seen it seemed that the girls love them.

Like was it 24/7 wrestling for them?

How good where they in the ring?

What was the reaction around the wrestling world every time one of them passed away?

I'm sorry. I guess I did leave the impression that I followed wrestling. The Von Erich period was the last time I really watched wrestling. Lost interest after that. But, catching up on videos via youtube is pretty sad and also brings back memories.

That's fine if you don't listen to wrestling anymore. I was just curious what you thought about the Von Erich brothers, like can you give us some information about them. Like it would be great if you able to tell us more about them and answer the questions I posted in my previous post.
