Okay here's my preview of today's game 2. Pitching matchup ATL: RHP Tim Hudson (6-8, 4.81 ERA) Hudson has provided just one solid performance while posting a 7.80 ERA in his past six starts. He squandered a four-run, first-inning lead and had to leave Friday's start against the Padres after allowing five earned runs in just three innings. He appears to be battling his confidence. When he's not been too fine with his pitches, he's found his sinker doesn't have its customary bite. STL: RHP Jason Marquis (11-6, 5.34 ERA) Marquis delivered his third straight strong start Thursday against the Dodgers. He worked eight innings, tossing 100 pitches and allowing just two earned runs. He worked down in the zone and displayed good command of his sinker. The right-hander doesn't overpower hitters, but when he has good control and gets ahead, he can work deep into games. Player to Watch: Scott Spiezio has seen a lot of Hudson and could see a spot start against the onetime A's ace. Spiezio is batting .333 (14-for-42) against Hudson.
