Went to Chestertown, Maryland for the weekend. In the parking lot of the Fish Whistle a turkey vulture must have smelled something dead. It kept coming around and the red-winged blackbirds get attacking it, especially this brave fellow.

I've seen smaller birds attack larger ones. The big ones aren't as fast so they can get away with it.

Saw a bunch of crows gang up on a hawk one day. The crows had reinforcements coming in from across the valley.

Going back through my photos, I find this one: The red-winged blackbird was pulling the turkey vulture's feathers out.
