I've come to realize this through the recent events in Oakland.

Cops sure as hell never opened fire on the Tea Partiers.....

Yeah, I don't see the same treatment to peaceful protestors.

Maybe if we had some millions of Koch Brother money and the corporate media's support...

LOL, even Soros can't save them from themselves. Do you think they learned any lessons about "retaking" something the cops told them not to? Disobeying police orders to disperse is not peaceful. "retaking" something that the cops control is not peaceful.

Nope, I don't think they learned anything.

The tea party did not try to take or occupy anything.

Now you're just being Silly. I've heard more about #OWS on any given news station lately than I ever heard about Tea Party rallies. In fact the only coverage I ever witnessed for the Tea Party rallies was a local AM Talk radio station.

Yeah, I don't see the same treatment to peaceful protestors.
Peaceful Protestor, Peaceful Protestor, Peaceful Protestor, Peaceful Protestor.... if I had a dime for every time I've heard those power words used in reference to the OWS people... I could probably buy a $5 Footlong from Subway.

Still though... I think you missed the sarcasm of the thread. This kind of Treatment to the Tea Partiers brings Ruby Ridge to Wall Street.

Not to mention the Tea Party got their permits and followed the law. But I realize most people ignore facts in arriving at their conclusions.

Because a permit is the perfect line to draw between escorting a protest and ejecting a tear gas canister into the skull of a human being who's no threat to you, causing a 2cm fracture and leaving him on death's door.

You're assuming A LOT of facts there, Kaz, while conveniently leaving other facts out. Which proves my point.
