David Stern said any future changes to the NBA's basketball will involve the players in the decision process.

"We would like to work with our players and Spalding to come up with the perfect ball," Stern said.

"Our players have played with a synthetic through high school. They played with a synthetic in college, yet, this synthetic, they are unhappy with it."

Thank god!!! I can't think of a player who actually liked the new ball. Also, at least now the players won't be able to blame a slippery ball for something stupid.

Well the change to the old ball will happen January first. When people like Steve Nash and LeBron James complain about the new ball and how it's destroying their hands you have to listen to them, because those two players never complain about anything. Good to see that David Stern will involve players in this decision unlike he did when he first change the ball at the begenning of the season.
