Rashard is one of my favorite players, on one of my favorite teams, I hope they get all these negotiations set so that its not a problem in the future.

Frank Hughes of THE NEWS TRIBUNE writes, "With the sale of the Seattle SuperSonics not yet finalized, the team and forward Rashard Lewis have decided to place on hold their discussions for a contract extension until after the ownership change is official."

I have a feeling that he demands more money than he is deserved. The Sonics organization is already strapped as it is.

I think he's a very good player, and he's underrated, if he played in New York or somewhere that has a big basketball market, then he would be known as a very good ball player. He and Ray Allen make a good 1-2 punch, and if they do lose him, then it will hurt the franchise in a lot of ways.
