Shuttle Discovery launching at ten 'til the hour

Lion Rampant
If anyone wants to see it, space shuttle Discovery is blasting off for the last time in about fifteen minutes from this posting. I'll be watching on CNN. On her final mission, Discovery will be carrying the world's first robot-stronaut to the orbiting International Space Station.

Did it go up? I missed it. I was interested because Gabrielle Giffords' husband was on this shuttle. Altho, most of the time, I don't give much thought to the shuttles going up.

4 legs good 2 legs bad
I watched the launch. It was pretty exciting. I'm always amazed that man is capable of getting into space when I see this kind of thing.
