Shred Your Statements?

I shred my credit card statements that I'm not saving as part of my income tax receipts. That's something I didn't really think about until a couple of years ago.

Does everyone do this these days?

No, I don't do this but I don't just let a garbage guy take them away, either. I guess when I get tired of them piling up, I'll shred them. Is that why you do it, so they won't just get into the regular garbage can with the numbers intact on them?

I shred mine too and at work I shred everything that has that information on it. This has to be done. Credit card fraud is at all time high.
