Out of those I am going with Alien. That movie managed to make me genuinely concerned for the characters, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat waiting to see if they manage to make it through the ordeal.

Some of the movies on there, such as the Exorcist and Psycho lost some points because of all the stuff I had heard about them before I actually saw them.

I chose Jaws, because it actually made me fear the ocean.
I still go swimming, but I find it very difficult to swim in the ocean at night

I'm gonna vote for A Nightmare on Elm Street (that's Freddy, right?). When I was a kid and watched one of these movies I always had nightmares. Freddy was disgusting and the chase throughout the movie wore me out. Until the end where some girl kicked his butt... I lol'd at that part. Even with that, I'm sticking to A Nightmare on Elm Street.

One of the best suspense movies of all time, it truly makes you fear the dark and creatures from outside our world.

I went with Halloween. I've not seen a few from the list but the music from Halloween always made me scared and I watched it when I was quite young. After a while it became funny but the music will still send a shiver down my spine.

I voted Alien, for me the Alien it is one of the scariest creatures in any film. I don't get scared of horror movies but a movie that does still actually scare me every time I watch it is Candyman.
