Movies Sanctum

MAgnum9987

Do What Thou Wilt
is a million times better than Avatar.

I genuinely feel the story, the directing, the acting, and the atmosphere (or lack their of ) all build up to be so much better than Avatar. Watch it right now.

If you don't know, Sanctum is about 5 cave divers who are trapped in a cave and must make their way to the cave exit, into the ocean, many miles away. It is terrifying, it is suspenseful, it is brilliant.

I suck at movie reviews....

All I know about this film is that it is filmed in Australia.

I would be interested to see it, but I don't do well with claustrophobia type situations so I'm unsure whether I will like it. I don't like scenes with people in tight enclosed spaces and I don't like people in areas with water filling up around them, in fact I'm just not a big fan of films where there is a lot of water involved altogether. Example: I can't stand Titanic for those reasons.

Do you think I could cope with Sanctum?

Hell no. 90% of the movie is under water, the best and worst scenes are under water, and half the people die underwater, so no, you won't like this, at all.

Haters gonna hate.
I have not seen it yet (I made the mistake of seeing The Roommate Friday night) but I do plan on seeing it this Saturday with some of my friends up here at college.

I have heard that claustrophobic people should not see this film at all, especially in 3D.

I hate the fact that it is 3d. It is annoying at first but then gives no contribution to the film itself. I hate 3d

Thanks for the advice then! I will make sure to steer clear of this one.
