Cristiano Ronaldo has reiterated he is happy at Manchester United, moving again to quash ongoing speculation about an eventual move to Real Madrid.

The Portugal international told club television channel MUTV he was happy and settled in Manchester. "There's always speculation, not just about me, but about the future of players all around the world," the 23-year-old said.

"People were speaking about me this summer but that was normal because of what I did during the season. What people are saying now is not true. Who says that is a liar because I am happy at the club, I want to stay here. I feel at home here. I feel very happy here."
I am happy at the club, I want to stay here. I feel at home here. I feel very happy here.

Cristiano Ronaldo pledges his future to United.

Ronaldo, who scored 42 goals last season in United's march to the Premiership and UEFA Champions League titles, admitted when the summer speculation was at its height that he would like to play in Madrid one day. However, he told MUTV: "I think the people don't forget quickly what you do for the club."

Ronaldo missed the start of the campaign following ankle surgery and admitted than ahead of his return against Spanish side Villarreal "I felt a little bit of pressure. But the fans were very good and this is why I feel the Manchester United supporters are amazing.

"I love the fans because they have been brilliant with me, not just this season but every season. Like I said before, I feel at home in Manchester."

At the FIFA Club World Cup, which United won in Japan last month, United boss Ferguson lashed out at Real Madrid amid fresh rumours of a Ronaldo move to the Bernabeu at the end of the season." Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon insisted there was "no agreement" between the two clubs on a transfer, as persistently alleged by Spanish media.

Very good news to all connected to the club.

If Man United are to continue their winning ways then he needs to stay and maintain his key male role at the club.

It was also be a New Years boost if Tevez signed a perminent deal with the club.

Great news.

Would love to see us line up like this to keep and utilise Tevez more:

-------------------VDS---------------
--Rafael-------Ferdinand----Vidic-----Evra--
------------Carrick-----Anderson-----------
-----Rooney-------------------------Ronaldo-
---------------Tevez------------------------
-------------------------Berbatov-------

Would give us a strong 4 pronged attack and with Carrick and Anderson playing CM/CDM to cover the back 4 would be a strong team that not many teams could handle.

I personally don't think Anderson is all that great at the moment. I'd like to see SirAlex's line up in action as I think Rooney would be far more effecting as an attcking winger/midfielder with Tevez and Berbatov upfront.
