Romney 2016

I've been hearing some talk over the last week or so that support is growing in the Republican Party for Mitt Romney to run for President again in 2016.

I guess some of it has to do with there being no real Republican front-runner emerging yet, but he is also supposedly very good at raising money. Still, it seems crazy to me that they'd want him to run again after losing to friggin Obama pretty handily in the last election, not to mention a lot of his policies are very similar to Obama's.

If the election is between Hillary and Romney, I will definitely be looking for an independent/3rd party candidate.

What are your thoughts? Would you be in support of Romney for President?

I mean this in the nicest way possible...

I'd be so upset if he got the nomination again that I would strongly consider voting third party. Then again, I'd vote for just about anyone just to make sure Hillary didn't get in, she would be crazy bad for America.

He lost to Obama when Obama should have lost easily, it was actually kind of unbelievable. Romney is an unattractive candidate and while I do think he would have been a much better president than Obama I would prefer to have someone like Cruz or Paul get the nomination.

I think both would be crazy bad for America. I wish we would get at least one decent candidate.

I will not vote for Romney, Paul would make a much better candidate.

At this point I don't know if I would vote for Romney, it depends on what third party candidate is also run. I know I would vote for Mickey Mouse over Hillary Clinton as he's accomplished more than she ever has. It looks like this will again be between the lesser of evils.

Hopefully the 2016 election gives us the choice of good vs evil rather than the lesser of two evils.

I have no faith in the Democratic Party to put forth a good candidate. I do have hope that the Republican Party can put out a good candidate (they just haven't in a very long time) for the Presidential ticket.

I wouldn't vote for Clinton, period. She's yet to accomplish anything and somehow she's loved by so many. Her viewpoints are also terrible and I know I'm not the only one that thinks she was a terrible Secretary of State.

I really liked Romney. I liked that he was honest, trustworthy and a great businessman. I didn't like that he basically started ObamaCare and was for abortion before he was against it. I'm not sure if I'd vote for him again or not. Probably not because a left of center Republican will get a lot of legislation through that a Socialist Democrat never could. Romney could get cap-and-trade passed for example but Obama could never get it passed Congress.
The worst of all is there was a poll recently that had Jeb Bush as the front runner. I almost threw-up. If I could financially get out of the country, I would strongly consider moving under a Jeb Bush presidency.

There were things I liked about Romney too, he was a much better candidate than McCain, who is a complete dullard. A Jeb Bush presidency would be disasterous. I would want to move out of here also if he's the Republican candidate.

I honestly cannot see myself voting for any single name that has come up. Hilary believes violent video games brainwash children, Mitt Romney is a flopper and pretty much every other candidate has the smell of eight week old socks.

I heard Romney on Hannity radio today(rebroadcast). He unequivocally stated that he will not run in 16. When Hannity asked him who looks good Romney said: Ryan, Christie, Jeb Bush and Rubio.
So, there's Romney's play for 16. He's not in, but he's going to use his capital to sway Republicans away from Rand Paul and toward Christie, Bush or Ryan. :shake::shake: The wost thing I've heard all week.
