MLB Reds think Joey Votto walks too much

Votto has lead the league in walks the last three years, and in two of those years he struck out more often than he walked. You have to figure if he walks less, he will strike out more often. Guess if he walks too much, he must not strike out enough either.

This is still a thing? Good god. To think that there are actual Reds fans who think Brandon Phillips is a better player than Joey Votto boggles my mind.

Votto’s career slash line with RISP is a Ted Williams like 340/477/590. What more could you possibly ask for. That’s HOF worthy numbers. He creates more runs than any other player in the NL.
