Why is this feature disabled? Can you enable it Hybrix or is there a reason its off?
Just type it like everybody else does. I guess the reason it's disabled is because it gets pretty cluttered looking after stuff like that is added.
If you just type in a quote from a member, then the accuracy of the quote can be called into question.

See how the quote tags don't necessarily lock in the quote either? You can still put whatever you want in them.
I understand that. It still requires that the person quoting be honest. Quote tags, in posts, also carry that link to the post which can allow the accuracy of the quote to be checked. If such a feature carried to the use in signatures, then it would allow that same verification.
