Question about speakers

Hell, It's about time!
What is a good mid range car audio speaker which is crisp sounding with some bass? I don't want all that fancy extra crap. I don't need a sub-woofer, bass etc... I just want a nice set of clear sounding speakers with some nice bass to them. I'm looking at around $100-$150 for them. What can meet both of my requirements? Thank you.
