Pre-Heisman Awards!

Haters gonna hate.
Well the pre-Heisman CFB awards were handed out last night, and (as expected for me), Cam Newton swept the big ones.

Auburn's Cam Newton wins Davey O'Brien Award for nation's top QB - ESPN

Maxwell Cam Newton, Auburn
O'Brien Newton
Walker LaMichael James, Oregon
Bilitnikoff Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State
Mackey D.J. Williams, Arkansas
Rimington Jake Kirkpatrick, TCU
Bednarik Patrick Peterson, LSU
Butkus Von Miller, Texas A&M
Outland Gabe Carimi, Wisconsin
Thorpe Peterson
Lombardi Nick Fairley, Auburn
Nagurski Da'Quan Bowers, Clemson
Groza Dan Bailey, Oklahoma State
Ray Guy Chas Henry, Florida

4 legs good 2 legs bad
I thought Alex Henery from Nebraska should have won the Groza for best kicker. He was 53/53 on PATs and 18/19 on FGs, only missing one from over 50 yards. Plus he was also the punter, and a great one at that.

Other than that though I don't disagree with any of these.

Haters gonna hate.
The Groza and Guy awards are always iffy to pick every year. I don't disagree with any of them.
