power supply not working

New Member
I blow my old power pack great, I brought a 400W x POWER power supply. I connected everything as far as im aware but nothing. When I turn the power pack of I hear it go off. Either my motherboard has blown or Im missing something. Also when The motherboard connector is half way in there is power but no system start. Any ideas??

Buy a power supply tester. They cost about $10 and you can check if your power supply is bad. If it's not bad then you probably hooked it up wrong. Have you built many computers in the past without problems or is this your first time?

Trust me, I'm The Doctor.
Your MOBO connector on either side could be busted, have you checked them?
