GYBE is definitely my favourite. EITS sounds a little overly emo to me.

GYBE sounds more mature, deeper and more powerful. Awesome band.

GYBE is definitely my favorite too. They're the band that got me hooked on the genre. Sometimes they're too slow or dark though. I've been checking out Explosions in the Sky a little bit recently and I'm really digging them.

GYBE is really good. Listening to them in the dark makes for an interesting journey. I prefer EITS's sound in general, though. To me, the emotion in their songs feels more rooted and real.
Another band I've always loved is The Timeout Drawer. They're a little different in that they have a synthesizer. "A Difficult Future" is one of my favorite albums ever. It's very relaxed and dreamy sounding. I like to play it when I go to bed.
