(CBS) - Customers at a Greenville, S.C. Best Buy were caught by surprise when pornography was displayed on large-screen TVs. According to CBS affiliate WSPA, customer Gloria Berg was in the store with her son and his children when the store's 55-inch screen TVs displayed the offending photograph of a man and woman. The image was up for several minutes, allowing time for other families to see the pornographic image. Read More Here
It seems like this happens a lot, porn being showed where it shouldn't be. I don't blame this mother for being upset but it doesn't look like it was the stores fault. I don't know how they would protect a wireless signal.

You can protect a wireless signal, but people can hack the protection. It's hard to say without more information if Best Buy should have been more careful or not.

I'd like to know what was shown. Knowing the moral range of the average American sample, it could have ranged from someone in a bikini to a bukkake party. Either way, it's always funny to me to see people getting so outraged at pornography. Yeah, Best Buy is definitely not the place but I think there are more important things to get mad at or to feel 'extremely violated' over.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about people getting shocked and appalled by porn, but I always laugh when I hear stories like this. This one was only a photograph too. I can only imagine a mad panic breaking out if a movie started playing.
