  1. What is everyones personal political stance? The majority of my family are Republicans, and very conserative, while I am a liberal, and a Democrat. When it comes to elections though it really depends on who has the better policies. I always look at both sides, and see their views on various issues before coming to a conclusion. However, I am a fan of Socialism, so I tend to disagree with many issues that the Republicans bring up.

Well before I started debating in high school I was a full blown conservative. However, after paying attention to really the parties themselves and politics I've begun to lean more towards Democrat.

I like to think of myself as an Independent of sorts; I vote on the person not the party, but I typically lean towards liberals. I'm for a lot more of what they believe in, some Conservative points still hold true though.

For the most part though; I'll be voting Liberal...UNLESS its Hillary Clinton...God help us all.

Also please before replying to this post, don't feel pressured of saying who you voted for, because some people don't like saying, and personally it's no one business, I myself prefer Liberal they have done a good job in the past, and here in Canada it's different because we have a Prime Minister and you guys have a President, so it's tottaly different.

    So you are a moderate.

I agree with you disliking Hillary Clinton, I believe she has too many screws loose.

But for myself, I'm a social liberal. I hate conservatives and I hate the trinkle down theory.

I tend to think that Democrate or Republican, they are both loaded with useless idiots. I can't stand either side but in truth it is the capitalist society that only makes it worse. There are things in life worth far more than money yet there are people whose only goal is the accumulation of large sums of wealth. The government needs to be about people, not dollar signs.

I'm a moderate because I've found myself agreeing with both sides on different issues, even though I tend to lean more towards Democrat.

Moderate..yes that was the word I was looking for; thanks.

So just kind've a question about the whole social liberal. Do you really hate all conservatives, or do you just the idealism of conservatives? Kinda curiouse, like if someone said "I'm conservative" then would you hate him? That would be pretty hardcore liberal.

I think a lot more younger people are becoming liberal due to alll the anti-Bush sentament.
  8. I've been liberal since I was a kid, mental wise I matured fast, even though I could not vote.

I'm more of a moderate leaning towards a liberal. I like to look at the person, see what they believe in, see if I agree with them, then I try to think if they're strong enough to actually carry out what they say. If it's one thing I like about Bush, is that he's pretty much stuck with what he believes in. I'm liberal on most topics, but stuff like national security, I'm fairly conservatist on it.

I'm not really political, and I try not to say anything because I don't want to come off as a jackass if its false. All I know is that I don't like Bush.
