well, I think the crutches helped a little but, but still... gettiung the timing down for all that with one leg is just amazing!

Because there's not another leg in the way. Think of how much it must distract the process to divide the labor between two limbs. At least with one, there's no doubt as to which one is going to be doing each of the steps, so all that remains is to concentrate and do it each time.

Actually it looks like he had a LOT of help using the cructches. In fact, it looks easier than using two legs. Maybe I should test that sometime...
