This thread is for the greatest club competition in the world....the European Champions League.

Current favourites are Barcelona and Manchester United.

It was the quarter-final first leg this week

results:

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool
Fenerbahce 2-1 Chelsea
Roma 0-2 Manchester United
Shalke 04 0-1 Barcelona

But who do you lot think will go all the way and become European champions?

As much as I hate them, Manchester United have been the best team thus far and I don't see anyone beating them. I'm looking forward to seeing them play Barca though.

Manchester United has been outstanding, just great performance.

I am very pleased with Fener, I didn't think they'll get this far, and they proved it against Chelsea.

You're absolutely right, United V Barcelona will be the ultimate show down. It should be fantastic.

Sucks that Arsenal lost, but at least it was one of the more exciting CL matches I've seen in a while. The semifinals should be good. I'm going for Barcelona and Chelsea. I'd rather not see an All-England final.

I wasn't able to watch the Man U and Roma last night, save for the first 2 minutes (it was on cable network and they tease you for a while before switching off). How long did Manchester play with their B team?

I'll be rooting for Barca!
