Lyle Overbay's first-inning grand slam kicked off the Jays' 9-7 victory over the A's on Wednesday. Toronto trailed in the fourth inning, but held the A's scoreless through the final five frames and came back to score three decisive runs. After the Jays took a 6-0 lead the A's scored 7 runs in the next three innings to take the lead 7-6 but the Jays scored two more in the Bottom of the fourt where they took the 8-7 then no one scored till the bottom of the seventh where the Jays scored a run to take a 9-7 lead. Then at the bottom of the ninth B.J Ryan struck out the side to have is eight save. Overall it was a high scoring game.
