Well, have at it. I was going to make it top 5, but from experience, its sometime shard to narrow it down to just 5.
You can list anime as well as live action.

Well, here are mine in no set order (that tends to change a lot other than Blade Runner always taking 1st -):

Blade Runner (1982)
Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Metropolis (1927)
Ghost In The Shell (1995)
Predator (1987)
The Terminator (1984)
Starship Troopers (1997)
Aliens (1986)
Dark City (1998)
Equilibrium (2002)

Any of The Matrix movies, although my favourite of them all is The Matrix: Revolutions. I also really enjoyed X-Men: The Last Stand and Wolverine from the X-men series.

That's all the ones I can think of off the top off my head

It was number 11 on my list. The effects and the craft design still hold up so well today...and I still don't have it on DVD! :-o
I watched it in not too long ago (a couple of years) after having not seen it for a good few. And as you say it's still as good today as it was back then.
Film universess have to have rules and I think Star Wars and Riddick are awsome. The Empire Strikes back is my favourite film of all time.

It's not me, it's you.

How appropriate.

I am a huge fan of Star Wars and The Matrix as all of those movies. Those 2 stick out the most for me, if I added more the list would be too long.

I tend to enjoy sci-fi/fantasy more than any other genre.

Pitch Black

The Iron Giant

The Matrix Series

Star Wars

There are a few others but these were the first to pop into my head, they are in no order just how they came out.
