E.R. was one of the longest running shows ever. It wrapped up 15 years yesterday with its finale.

End of 'ER' marks end of era -

So, what do you think about this? Was it about time? Is the idea worn out?

What type of show would you like to see NBC replace ER with?

Personally I think part of the reason they ended it was due to Michael Crichton dying recently. He was one of the show's writers and as far as I know he was still active in writing the series. I could be wrong though.

I like the show when George Clooney was around. Fifteen seasons is alot and I think that it was time to hang up the scrubs. If they ended the show because of Michael Crichton, I respect that and they feel that the show would not be the same without Crichton.

I thought ER would only last 8-10 seasons. But I still sort of surprised that it last 15 seasons. I think it was time for the show to end.

I wasnt really a fan of the show but 15 season's that is impressive for any show to have under its belt.
