new system - anwar &azam khan (a.k.a khan) auctions

Hi all

I thinking of building a new system and wanted some advice on the mobo and cpu.

I was thinking of a Gigabyte board (i've heard good things about them).

I was also thinking of a Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

My questions were:

Is having 1333 FSB worth it at the moment - is the outlay worth the gain in performance?

I was looking at a mid range processor for maybe around £100 to £150. Any suggestions in this range.

Also, for the motherboard, is there a good, stable Gigabyte board with 1333 FSB. I'm not fussed which chipset it is, so long as it nice and stable!

I use my pc for gaming, though i'm not overly fussed about getting the max performance out of it.

Many thanks in advance.
