one question: Is it only for the DS Lite or can it be used for the "old" DS?

after some research, i've found that it does work on both systems.....

Interesting. I don't think I'd use it much though. I'd rather put the money towards a video iPod. The DS screen is too small to really watch anything on. It's smaller than I'd like even for games, let alone watching movies, etc.
