Moonlight Mile,

Moonlight Mile is a political science fiction drama about two space explorers who seek the answer to Earth's energy crisis on the moon. E.Y.E.S. of Mars director Iku Suzuki supervised this adaptation of Yasuo Ohtagaki's manga, and a second season is already planned in Japan for a September premiere. ADV has not finalized this work's release plans in North America.

Venus Versus Virus,

The 12-episode Venus Versus[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Virus[/FONT][/FONT] is another television series from Studio Hibari, except it places an unsuspecting girl in a battle against demons called Virus that threaten humanity. She gains the abilities to see these demons and joins the elite Venus Vanguard to protect her world from these monsters. Shinichiro Kimura (Burn Up Excess, Maburaho) directs this adaptation of Atsushi Suzumi's manga. (Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga for North America.) ADV plans to release this series on three [COLOR=blue! important][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][COLOR=blue! important][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]DVDs[/FONT][/FONT][/color][/color] starting November.

King of Bandit Jing,

King of Bandit Jing in Seventh Heaven is the further video adventures of Jing, the most infamous thief in this fantasy world. Seventh Heaven is the ironically named prison complex that Jin and his partner Kir find themselves in. Before the two escape, they try to steal the Dream Orb treasure from a devious convict named Campari inside. ADV had previously licensed and released the King of Bandit Jing television series, which is based on Yuuichi Kumakura's manga (as published by Tokyopop in North America). Hiroshi Watanabe, director of the Slayers movies and Detective Loki, reunites most of the television series staff including character designer Mariko Oka (Detective Loki, Ghost Hound). The DVD containing all three video episodes will ship this November.


Ouran High School Host Club,

In Ouran, middle-class Haruhi enrolls into the elite Ouran High School, which has a secret Host Club of rich boys that cater to girls as a paid service. Haruhi is roped into working in the club to pay off a debt, but she becomes one of the club's most popular hosts when she is mistaken for a boy. Viz Media releases the original shōjo manga by Bisco Hatori that inspired the 2006 anime version.

Sasami: Magical Girl Club,

Sasami is a 2006 television series in which alternate versions of Sasami, Misao, Washū, Ryo-Ohki, and other characters from the Tenchi/Pretty Sammy universes form a school cooking club that is secretly a magical girl club. This incarnation of Sasami is a fifth grader with magical powers while Washū is her new school's cooking teacher (who cannot cook) and the club's advisor. Funimation has licensed the first season of Sasami, along with the right to first refusal on subsequent seasons. The company had previously licensed Tenchi Muyō! GXP and the third Tenchi Muyō! OAV series.


The story revolves around a hacker-for-hire named Tōru whose "Steppen Wolf" team tries to infilitrate FLAK, the United Nations anti-cyberterrorism unit. The discovery of Steppen Wolf's hacking leads to the team leader's death and Tōru's coerced employment as a government "white hat" hacker to avoid punishment. Tōru must now counter serious cyberterrorists like the Fei Dao group while tracking down who killed his former leader.
