My touch makes her cold

Registered Member
I am trying to get back into writing and I have just come up with the below, I am not sure if it is any worth but I want to try again:

"My touch makes her cold

In the field she weeps,
Uncontrollably she cries and yet she does not make a sound,
I can see her but she cannot see me,
I try to comfort her but when I go to touch her she shudders,
My touch makes her cold,
She has a sadness behind her eyes,
The redness under her eyes is of tissues that have long since given up trying to absorb her pain,
Almost as if they themselves have decided that it is just not worth trying anymore,
I speak she howls,
I move forward she looks up,
And then I remember why,
She misses me,
And I can't change that,
Losing someone in love through death is heartbreaking,
I will always love you my sweet."
