Morley says he's returning to WWE

Rajah.com had this very brief news bit today:
-- Sean Morley (a/k/a Val Venis) is telling people he has re-signed with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Good or bad? I never cared for his hand-spinning, towel-wearing porn star gimmick back then, but it's been so long that I might actually enjoy the man taking another run. Would you want to see Val Venis again, or would you, like me, rather have him repackaged? Wouldn't they kind of have to, anyway, due to the current PG-13 rating?

I loved his original gimmick, I thought it was pretty damn funny. Unfortunately it couldn't work with today's rating, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in a WWE ring once again. When given a chance Val Venis can excel, he's a solid worker and he's pretty good on the microphone. There's a few guys that I believe he could have good feud/matches with if he did come back.

Echo what Ruth said. He is a solid performer and I remember him having feuds with Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman. He would be great to bring back to the midcard ranks and help bring the prestige back to the mid level belts.

Val Venis is one of the most underrated wrestlers I've ever seen. He was a huge part of the attitude era but is mostly forgotten about. He's so good on the mic if they'd give him a chance. He'll be like Goldust is right now...a perfect guy to have around.

Val Venis was one of my favorite wrestlers during the Attitude Era. It'd be great to see him back, and I just hope they give him a great character to play, seeing as the new rating would prevent the porn star angle.

I still remember the feud with Kaientai. Pretty entertaining stuff.

Val Venis was Mr. Sunday Night Heat. LOL! The only reason why I did watch Heat.

What he said.

Morley's porn gimmick was annoying most of the time for me, for some reason. Maybe the PG era will provide a good opportunity for him to be himself...great on the mic, like Millz said, but I think vastly underrated in the ring. Solid skills.

Is there a chance that this could just be for a training position at FCW? Or some other backstage role?

Why was it annoying? I thought it was hilarious and brilliant.

We don't know if he's coming back as a wrestler or just work backstage like Eugene when they brought him back. So who knows what the future holds for Sean Morley when he comes back to the WWE.
