Millenials And The Stock Market

Why all the mistrust here? Or is it simply a lack of knowledge on how it all works?

Why are millennials afraid to invest and play the market?

Or are all the news reports wrong?

I did it many years ago and did pretty well. I also lost a good amount. Broke even honestly and got scared just enough to learn to be patient. I have some investments now but have been wanting to scale that up as I can.

I do think a lot of millennials get cold feet, but I also think millennials tend to think more about now than later. Saving and investing for your future isn’t as fun as spending it all on a brand new iPhone X right now, so it’s easy to put it off.
