WOW. Microsoft Offers $44.6 Billion To Acquire Yahoo

Microsoft has offered $44.6 billion to Yahoo. I think this would be HUGE for Microsoft and a great deal for Yahoo. It would also be very very bad for Google. Google can't touch Yahoo though due to antitrust and monopoly laws.

I hope this deal happens. I've been for it ever since it was rumored last year.

Actually, Microsoft might not be able to touch Yahoo for the same reason. There's already been talk of this deal being investigated on antitrust. I suppose it's because Microsoft already dabbles in most of the things Yahoo and Google do.
